House Divided? Pizza Party to the Rescue!

Pizza night is our favorite way to celebrate a long work week, a birthday, or a night with friends. If you are living in a "house divided," pizza is the easiest way to bring people with different dietary needs together.

Our PLANTSTRONG Pizza Crust Kit is a blank canvas for your creativity! Each kit has five whole grain, oil-free pizza crusts and perfectly portioned sauce packs.

Depending on who you're serving, design a toppings bar that meets people where they are. Sharing a meal with friends is more important than arguing over food philosophy.

You already know the standard pizza toppings, below are some ideas to spark your creative side!

Pizza with fresh arugulaArugula! - No matter what toppings are underneath, a nest of peppery arugula on top is next level. Level up with a fancy drizzle of balsamic glaze!

Brussels Sprouts! Slice and steam lightly, then pile on your pie. Shown here with "tempeh bacon," add a drizzle of barbecue sauce to your pizza sauce and you'll be blown away.

The all new PLANTSTRONG Peanut Curry Secret Sauce is great for something new! Mix sauce mix with just enough water to make a thick sauce, then top with baked tofu, mango, sliced carrots, spinach, and green onions.

Try this Cowboy Pizza: sweet corn slabs with red onion, red bell peppers, pinto beans, cilantro and BBQ sauce!

Potato Pizza with Black beans

PLANTSTRONG Chili makes a great pizza topper! Try using the Engine 2 Firehouse Chili (drain off a little of the liquid), then top with baked potato slices, red peppers, green onion, and cilantro or parsley.

Use your imagination to create even more combinations. There are so many possibilities!

If you're nudging your family members along the path to plants, here's a list of upgrades for traditional pizza toppings.

Below are some other ideas for pizza-compromise when sharing a meal with family and friends.

In this Fiesta Pizza we used Upton's Naturals Chorizo Seitan on the left and black beans on the right. We used all of the same toppings otherwise, except we used Daiya Cheddar Shreds on the left and avocado slices on the right.

Another example is this "Chick'n Spinach Artichoke" Pizza:

We used Uptown's Naturals Traditional Seitan diced on the left and cannellini beans on the right. We used Vegan Parmesan Cheese on the left and nutritional yeast on the right.

Then we hit a home run with our "Steak" and Potatoes Pizza! We found a new product called Eat Meati Classic Steaks - made from mushroom root! Only the Meati Classic Steaks are oil free. We added pinto beans on the right side of this pizza instead - for another tasty option! The Eat Meati Classic Steaks taste like a tender cut of steak. We grilled them without oil in a grill pan, then sliced into strips.

We topped our PLANTSTRONG Pizza Crust with another fun new product from our friends at Credo. Their Roasted Garlic Alfredo Sauce was a huge hit - even with our omnivore friends. It's so new, it's not on their website yet. See below for photos. We found it at Whole Foods Market.
