Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr. is author of the New York Times bestseller Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. Dr. Esselstyn was a researcher and clinician at the Cleveland Clinic for more than thirty-five years. Dr. Esselstyn and his wife, Ann Crile Esselstyn, have followed a plant-based diet for more than forty years. They work together to counsel patients in Cleveland and at the farm in Upstate New York where Dr. Esselstyn grew up
Ann Crile Esselstyn was a teacher for 27 years. In addition, she juggled four children, teaching, and figuring out plant-based, oil-free ways to cook. Ann developed the recipes for the New York Times Best Seller, Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease and in 2014 she wrote The Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease Cookbook with her daughter Jane Esselstyn. Kim Campbell is the Director of Culinary Education and Development at PlantPure and the daughter-in-law of T. Colin Campbell.
